Gosh, when your nephew makes a surprise announcement that he wrote a book, that is enough to floor you. To wave it in front of the whole family and announce it was publish – that’s the stuff that makes grandmothers cry.

It’s not photography related, but since I think a little boasting by the proud uncle can be forgiven for a moment I’d like to announce my nephew’s new book – Modern Knights!

I haven’t even read it yet, he kept the whole thing a secret from everybody. It’s supposed to have been in the works for over a few years and it is the first of a series of 8 (I didn’t know kids could count that hi – lol). Here I thought all he could do was play video games as his nose is buried in the computer every time I see him, little did I know the guy was writing a book and not playing games
