We are making a short run of a new product, the ABBC Translucent-N.
The Translucent-N is the same shape and size as the ABBC New Big-Light but is made with a translucent material using a LOT less labor to manufacture and gives terrific results! This brings a much lower price to you.
This allows bouncing the light the same way it is done now or shooting through it for an even softer more diffused light.
Pictured is the Translucent-N mounted on the flash for bounce-diffused lighting:
Here is the new Translucent-N mounted on the front side for softer diffused shoot-through lighting:

And turned around so you shoot-through for a softer light:
Notice these have been mounted on the wide side of the flash unit. This is unusual as normally the ABBC units are mounted on the narrow side of the flash gun to be able to go from landscape to portrait orientation instantly.
By mounting the Translucent-N on the wide side, you can actually aim the flash head forward and down for shooting macro of objects close to the lens. There are lots of new possibilities.
To operate the Translucent-N in the normal way, it mounts on the narrow side of the flash like this:

The Translucent-N is the normal size version.
There is also a Translucent-L that is a larger version. The Translucent-L is the same size and shape of the ABBC Super-Big-Light except it is made of a translucent material to bounce and shoot through. The Translucent-L is about 3 times the surface area as the Translucent-N – it’s big!
Here is a picture of the Translucent-L in normal bounce mode. You would mount on the front to shoot through for softer light.
Both the Translucent-N and the Translucent-L work on the Canon and Nikon Speedlights and also on the Olympus, Pentax, Sony and hot shoe mounted Metz and Sigma. Will not work on handle mounted flash units.
Works well with the Quantum T5D and Trio flash units with the reflectors removed.
